It was a great week in the garden this week! We tagged and released monarch butterflies, collected seeds from the natives bed, painted edging boards, worked with the Green Team to maintain the labyrinth, collected data for our OSU tomato project, fed compost to our sawfly larva and harvested over 100 pounds of food for the Worthington Resource Pantry. Next week, we will continue to construct our compost row, clean up the labyrinth, get the natives bed ready for fall and harvest, harvest, harvest. We are on our way to 1,000 pounds!
Phyte Club meets on Mondays after school from 3:15 - 4:15, and students can work on projects during their open blocks at school. Everyone is welcome! Ask Monica and she will help you get connected.
