It was an incredible week in the garden this week! Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday to do our fall garden cleanup! It was a great turnout and we got so much done in only 3 hours. The Food Forest is mulched and weeded, the Labyrinth is cleaned up, stone is finished, and the weeds have been removed, the Ohio Natives bed got a trim and mulch, and even the herb garden is ready for winter. Special shout out to the volunteers who cleaned out the shed of doom!. You all did so much work!!!
Next week, we will plant garlic, finish up the last of the winterizing and work on setting up our compost centers.
Phyte Club meets on Mondays after school from 3:15 - 4:15, and students can work on projects during their open blocks at school. Everyone is welcome! Ask Monica and she will help you get connected.
