It was a great day in the garden today! Finally the weather is cooperating and we no longer needed to choose between mittens and garden gloves. Madison got the water hooked up and we watered our cold crops for the first time this season. We got most of the tools cleaned from the Interim mud event. Elliot took over design of the Hugelkultur. Serin and Rosanne started work on tilling the ground where the milpa will go. On Friday, we need to move a pile of dirt down to the Hugelkultur, so if you have been looking for a chance to use a wheelbarrow, this is it!
