It was a great week in the garden this week! Phyte Club started our Winter Sowing Project, where we create pocket gardens with native plants that will be up and growing by spring. Pocket gardens, along with individual native plants will be available in May. We also snacked on some great salad made with the lettuce from the aquaponic system students made last semester. We won't meet on January 19th, but will meet again on the 26th, when we will continue with winter sowing along with starting our spinach and pepper seeds and announcing our new look for the agricultural area.
Phyte Club meets on Mondays from 3:15- 4:15 on school days throughout the year (but not on November 3.) Anyone in the Linworth community is welcome to join us! You don't need to sign up ahead of time. Just show up at Phyte Club and we will get you started!
