It was a great week in the garden this week! We filled in the south border bed, finished harvesting the gourds, pumpkins and cherry tomatoes, cleaned up the fruit area, cleaned out the greenhouse and worked on our watering system. Treehuggers got the stakes put up for our deer fencing around the native food forest. Next week, we will finish adding soil to the new border bed, sort and plant the garlic, smooth the back pathway and continue fall clean up. Treehuggers will get the fencing finished on Tuesday, so we can plant the food forest the following week.
Phyte Club meets on Mondays from 3:15- 4:15 on school days throughout the year. Anyone in the Linworth community is welcome to join us! You don't need to sign up ahead of time. Just show up at Phyte Club and we will get you started!
